Pets can be a wealth of learning experience! You can measure a pet, weigh a pet, keep track of it's growth, learn about its history, you can write and draw pictures about it, you can observe it's behaviors and record them like scientists and so much more! Learn to bake your own dog treats and cookies. There are lots of great recipes on the web and your dog will LOVE them and your kids will have a good time cutting up little liver flavored cookies and goodies. They're cheaper than the store brands and SO MUCH healthier for your furry family members!
